25-30 donor cells were transplanted into the margin of a host embryo at 30-40% epiboly (Fig. 6);resulting embryos were collected at either 48 or 72 hpf and analyzed for phox2b (wild-type hosts) or EGFP (phox2b::egfp hosts)expression, respectively.
Out of 226 embryos that received the transplant, 15 (7%) displayed rescue of at least one EB ganglion.
