Table shows average length in μm of OC-OC contacts. Length of contacts between adjacent OCs at it=1 (stage 18), t=3 (stage 20) and t=5 (stage 22) based on confocal images (see broken white line Fig. 5A-D). Each number is the average of data based on five cells from three fields taken from three embryos. A field is defined as an area 191 μm by 191 μm containing between 55 and 70 outer cells.
