Q10 values show the sensitivity of metabolic rate to increasing temperature. For example, a Q10 of 2 denotes a doubling of V̇CO2 for each 10°C increase in temperature
Asterisks denote that LN females and LN males have a significantly lower Q10, thus less thermal sensitivity to the increase in temperature.(See Results for statistical analysis)
