Male field voles were exposed to short day photoperiod (SD, 8 h:16 h L:D, N=3) and long day photoperiod (LD, 16 h:8 h L:D) for 17 days (the increase phase, N=3) or 59 days (the plateau phase, N=3). Only fatty acids that constitute >1% of all identified fatty acids are presented. Values are means ± s.d.
