PCNT is critical for the association and conversion of centrioles to centrosomes during mitosis
Summary: Entering mitosis, centriole pairs disengage but remain associated with surrounding PCM proteins. On mitotic exit, specific cleavage of PCNT induces PCM disintegration, allowing separation of mother and daughter centrioles.

An approach for accelerated isolation of genetically manipulated cell clones with reduced clonal variability
Summary: Standard methods of generating cell clones after CRISPR/Cas9 treatment result in highly divergent signaling cascades among clones. We demonstrate here an improved alternative approach.
CryoAPEX – an electron tomography tool for subcellular localization of membrane proteins
Summary: CryoAPEX couples localization of peroxidase-tagged membrane proteins at high resolution with 3D structural analysis, within an optimally preserved cellular context.
