There was an error published in Development 138, 1087-1092.

A Drosophila fly strain was described as having a transgene (Khc4R-A) with mutations that produce Khc protein with four basic amino acids in the tail microtubule-binding domain changed to alanine (Fig. 1A, Fig. 4B). The identities of two of the amino acids that were changed were misreported. The correct amino acid changes are K925A (not R923A), R929A, H932A (not R935A) and R936A. Accordingly, the allele has been renamed KhcKRHR-A. A revised Fig. 1A is provided below.

This error does not affect the conclusions of the paper. The authors apologise to readers for this mistake.
